welcome
Whether we met in a hostel lobby somewhere in the world or you’re an old friend from home, I’m so happy you’re here!
The practices shared in this virtual space are intended to foster a sense of home inside yourself - the kind of home that follows you wherever you go, no matter how far.
May your practice be of benefit to yourself and, by way of yourself, of benefit to others.

My method of teaching asana (the physical practice of yoga) is not based in identifying a “right” vs “wrong” expression of each pose.
Instead, my objective is to guide your process of searching for the variation that offers the most relevant benefits for you at that time.
I’ve found this style of asana practice to strengthen intuition, foster empowerment and grow trust in oneself.

After a few adventurous months living in my converted Jeep, I flew back to Kansas for a quick trip home that turned into a 3 month solo backpacking adventure across Eastern Europe. Oopsies….
Halfway through this adventure, I found myself at an incredible hostel in Portugal where I pitched the idea of hosting yoga classes on the terrace. I was ecstatic at the idea of teaching people from all over the world, serving as a source of reprieve in the midst of our chaotic backpacking routes we shared.
Since this experience, I’ve gone on to teach in many travel-centric spaces and have recently relocated to Playa Grande, Costa Rica where I get to serve my community, both local and transient, through the same practices.

My mom has been a yogi for as long as I can remember. I attended my first class with her when I was about 12 during which I decided I would never understand, let alone enjoy, whatever these deep breaths and funny body positions had to offer me. It's funny how greatly our opinions can change in a decade...
Growing up in the small farm town of Winfield, Kansas, I started dance at 3 years old and continued training, performing and competing all through childhood. After high school, I moved to Las Vegas to dance professionally. My short, 2 years in the entertainment industry left my mental and physical health in a very fragile state and that’s when yoga, once again, found me. My practice really saved me in those days.
In 2018 I moved to Phoenix, Arizona to get my 200 hour teaching certification in Vinyasa Yoga. Since then, I’ve been teaching multiple classes each week in various settings to diverse demographics in Kansas, Portugal and Costa Rica. Everyday I feel so lucky to share the practices that gave me the life I get to live now.
